A Birth of a Mother

Prepare yourself for the birth of a new…YOU!

When you’re pregnant, it’s easy to focus all your energy on your baby and lose sight of you.

You prepare for the birth like a marathon, you set everything up around you to welcome your little one but have you thought about what comes next?

The birth of your baby is a huge milestone of your pregnancy but what awaits you on the other side of that momentous event is also the birth of a new YOU! As your whole identity shifts, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. There’s no better time for you to understand and prepare for this huge transformation than when you’re expecting! This article here explains why.

Motherhood is a personal development journey like no other and with adequate support and resources, you can harness this time of your life to bring out the best in you.

The Birth of a Mother is a half-day workshop for expecting mothers who want to know how to manage the first few months after giving birth and how to take care of themselves…not just the baby!

The Birth of a Mother workshop will help you:

Understand what changes you are likely to experience after birth

Unpack your personal beliefs, fears and assumptions about motherhood

Prepare yourself to manage the first few months after birth by filling in your postnatal plan

Navigate this huge transition into motherhood with more flow and confidence

Learn how to stay connected to your intuition now and after the birth

Motherhood is an opportunity to not only learn how to mother your child, but also how to mother yourself.

What I enjoyed the most about this workshop was being able to express my feelings surrounding motherhood in a safe space. I have a new respect for myself that I will be undertaking such a big journey from woman to mother.

This workshop is an absolute must for any mother to be. We focus so much on birth and baby but not on ourselves and how we are changing and continue to change into motherhood. I feel privileged, prepared, and confident to navigate the changes with the great tools and resources Elise provided. I found the postnatal plan very useful.

I went home and shared what I had learned with my husband and we worked on what we can do to prepare for motherhood together. He felt I was growing already! Thank you Elise!
